Learn to make your own stylish jewellery out of resin – a warm, tactile and very wearable material which comes in all sorts of great colours. On this course you will gain an understanding of basic resin techniques as well as mould-making and cold enamelling. You will have the chance to explore colour and texture and create a piece of jewellery to your own design. The tutor is the author of Resin Jewellery and Design and Make Non-precious Jewellery.

Goldwork Embroidery Taster - Fuchsia

Goldwork is a stunning form of embroidery that can be worked in gold, silver, copper and other luxuriously coloured threads. This course is ideal for beginners and students with little previous knowledge as you will be guided through all the stages with group demonstrations and individual advice. A small design will be worked that incorporates the main types of metal thread and a variety of techniques. We will work on a fuchsia sprig motif embroidered with purple and pink coloured metal threads that are embellished with gold thread, worked on an ivory background.
