Our Tutors

Our tutors are selected for their standard of craftsmanship and teaching talent. They are experts and practising craftspeople. Many are award winners, members of professional guilds and known internationally.

Aza Adlam is a qualified ceramic restorer, experienced picture framer, accomplished stained glass artist and painter of miniatures. She has taught widely in all of these subjects and has a reputation for being a knowledgeable, patient and inspiring tutor. See full profile
Catherine Binnie has a degree in Fine Art Scuplture and almost thirty years' experience in sculpting and teaching stone carving. She has taught sculpture at the Oxford Summer School and to children in many local schools. She works largely to commission and works include a group of stone sheep in Bicester town centre. Designer-maker, jewellery artist, author and experienced tutor, Melanie Blaikie has enjoyed a fascinating career in the world of jewellery. She started as a diamond valuer with DeBeers, London, and went on to design for Asprey, Gerrad and Tiffany. See full profile
Jo Blenkinsop has been working with polymer clay for about a decade. She made her first pieces during a class with Sara Withers who also introduced her to the fascinating world of wire and bead jewellery. She is greatly inspired by the work of Carol Blackburn whose bracelets are a miracle of intricacy and precision. See full profile
Laura Boswell works mainly as a printmaker specialising in relief printing although she also works on large scale public art projects in vitreous enamel. She graduated from Aberystwyth University with a 2:1 in Visual Art and Art History. See full profile
