Our Tutors

Our tutors are selected for their standard of craftsmanship and teaching talent. They are experts and practising craftspeople. Many are award winners, members of professional guilds and known internationally.

Simon Keeley is a trained stone mason and carver and has completed a number of prestigious commissions including interior and exterior work on Westminster Abbey, Westminster School and other historic buildings in London. See full profile
Norah Kennedy has been a basketmaker and taught willow workshops for 25 years. She is a member of the Basketmakers' Association. Norah enjoys passing on her skills to others and watching her students create beautiful, useful objects. See full profile
Vikki Lafford has been designing and making embroidered wedding dresses and fashion accessories for her label Liliia since 2009, following graduation from Chelsea College of Art with a Master’s degree in Textile Design, a degree in Embroidery and four years working as an embroidery designer and digitiser. Robert Longstaff was taught how to make corn dollies by a farmer in Sussex whilst a student in 1972 and has been teaching and making them ever since. For more than 30 years Robert and his wife Yvonne have been running their own workshop specialising in woodworking (musical instrument making, woodturning, toy making, dolls houses and miniatures).
