Designer-maker, jewellery artist, author and experienced tutor, Melanie Blaikie has enjoyed a fascinating career in the world of jewellery. She started as a diamond valuer with DeBeers, London, and went on to design for Asprey, Gerrad and Tiffany. 

Melanie discovered silver clay in 2002 and is now committed to sharing her knowledge with others, especially beginners. She is the author of two books; Silver Clay Workshop and Rings.
